The Ards Arts Collective  is a non profit making association established in January 2004 to encourage opportunities for artists and craftspeople living within the Ards Borough.

The Ards Borough lies on the beautiful and "drumlin" rich east coast of Northern Ireland. A rich and varied landscape with stunning Strangford Lough and the Irish Sea providing unsurpassed scenic views along the Ards Peninsula.

Much of the Borough has been hailed as an area of outstanding beauty and it encompasses one of only three designated marine nature reserves in the United Kingdom.

The AIMS of the Collective include raising profile and development support of professional artists and craftspeople living within the Ards Borough through exhibitions, publications, workshop, master-classes, symposia and training.

Also working in partnership with local statutory, charitable and voluntary organisations to benefit local communities and encouraging economic regeneration through cultural tourism.
